ESIM’s railway diagnostics division was founded in 2007 to operate in the areas of design, prototype production, and highly engineered systems for monitoring railway infrastructure and rolling stock.
The first project dates back to 2008 when the OpERA (Opto Electronic Railway Analysis) system was developed. This system can automatically measur all track geometry parameters. Since then, the company has experienced continuous growth, characterized by a progressive strengthening of its production and design departments. This has expanded its technical capabilities and increased its market share both nationally and internationally.
The know-how acquired has enabled the company to collaborate with major railway partners on ambitious projects to test new highly technological mobile diagnostic systems that allow the automatic monitoring of the infrastructure, without the need for operators.
