The SAQC system has the goal to measure the quality of captation, with reference to the Current and the Voltage collected by the pantograph, and it is necessary to verify the safety and quality of the rolling stock’s power supply system. It is compliant to European Standard: EN50317 and measures:
- The electrical arcs generated between the pantograph and the contact line in the event of disconnection Arc Detection System (ARCDS);
- Voltage and current collection Energy Measurement System (EMS).
FEATURES
The ESIM system for diagnostics of pantograph-catenary interaction for overhead lines is divided into sub-units.
In particular, it is possible to identify:
- Storage and Processing Units (EMU);
- Localization and Synchronization Unit (ULS);
- Unit for Acquisition, Conversion and Transmission of Measurements (UACTM);
- Human Machine Interface Unit (HMI);
- Power supply unit (PWR).
